I don't want you to stress about your photography session

Are you getting ready for a family lifestyle photo session or Mother's Day mini-session? If so, let me just say, I get it. It can be stressful trying to coordinate outfits for everyone, making sure everyone is dressed and ready to go on time, and trying to make sure everyone is smiling and happy for the camera. But fear not, I am here to help you make the process as stress-free as possible. I won't give you hot tips on exactly what styles are IN right now because honestly...I should get a personal shopper.

The first tip I have for you, and I know this will feel backward but hear me out, ladies, you pick YOUR outfit first. You want to make sure you feel comfortable and confident in what you're wearing because let's be real if you are uncomfortable in what you are wearing it will be hard to hide. It will show on your face in many of the images. So, pick something that makes you feel great, it doesn't matter if that's jeans and a T-shirt or a cute dress or shorts and a tank top. Once you choose your outfit take a breath and relax, you will look great!

Now, let's talk about the rest of the family's outfits. We both know your kids are going to look adorable in whatever you put them in, and your husband will likely be willing to wear what you tell him to just to get the whole thing over with. So put them in whatever you want, don't worry about matching, just stay away from shirts with big busy logos and you will be set!

Lastly, try not to stress too much about the photo session. The most important thing is that you're all together and that you're making memories as a family. And let's be real, even if someone has a smudge on their face or messy hair, it's all part of the fun and it makes the photos all the more real and special. So, take a deep breath, put on an outfit that makes you feel great, and let's make some beautiful memories!
